Custom Software & Integrations

Bespoke software where off-the-shelf tools cannot carry the operation.

What it is

Bespoke software is a permanent commitment. It needs hosting, maintenance and somebody accountable for it in four years, so the work starts from the business problem and the bottleneck rather than from a preset package.

From there it is architecture, development, interface design, testing and launch — with the integrations doing most of the actual work: CRM, ERP, payments and inventory connected to each other rather than replaced one at a time. It is built on your infrastructure, in your repository, under your licence. You own the software.

Documentation is written to the standard another developer could take it over cold, and it is supported past launch. That is not a courtesy: undocumented bespoke software is a hostage situation with an invoice attached. The platform we have run longest is an ERP serving over 200 users across branches and trade partners, now in its fifth year of continuous production, expanded as the branch and partner count grew — which is the actual test of whether something was built properly.

What you get

Deliverables, stated up front.

  • Starts from the business problem and the bottleneck, not a preset package
  • CRM, ERP, payments and inventory connected rather than replaced
  • Built on your infrastructure, under your licence — you own the software
  • Documented and supported past launch — the platform we run longest is in its fifth year

What the engagement includes

Discovery
Map the workflow and requirements.
Architecture
Plan the system and data flow.
Development
Build web, cloud or mobile tools.
Integrations
Connect CRM, ERP, payments and inventory.
Interface design
Keep the product simple to use.
Testing
Check security, stability and edge cases.
Launch
Deploy and hand over cleanly.
Support
Improve the system as needs change.

What it does not do

Where a configured off-the-shelf tool will do the job, that is the recommendation, even though it is the smaller engagement. Custom software earns its cost only when the operation genuinely does not fit anything on the market — and it carries hosting, maintenance and an owner for as long as it runs.

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Audit & Discovery

Infrastructure audit, brand DNA, pain points, goals and audience — the whole business, not just the tech stack.

Written findings covering the business, not just the tech

  2. 02

    Strategy & Roadmap

A structured proposal ranked by impact — the pain points and goals it actually moves, not what's easiest to sell.

Agreed roadmap, ranked by pain solved first

  3. 03

    Fix, Then Build

What's broken gets fixed first. Then we build toward the goals that matter — not a list of nice-to-haves.

Fixes and systems shipped, biggest pain points first

  4. 04

    Retain & Optimise

Ongoing measurement, maintenance as the business changes, continuous optimisation — not a one-off handover.

Regular reporting with real deltas, including negatives

Questions buyers ask

What types of software can you build?

We build a range of solutions — from internal business tools like CRMs, inventory management systems, and dashboards, to customer-facing platforms and mobile apps. If it needs to be built from scratch and tailored to your business, we can handle it.

How long does software development take?

It depends on the complexity and scope. Smaller tools or MVPs might take 4–6 weeks, while larger systems can take 3–6 months or more. After discovery, we'll give you a realistic timeline and keep you updated at every stage.

Will the software integrate with my current tools?

Yes. We specialize in building custom solutions that work alongside — not against — your existing infrastructure. Whether it's an API, plugin, or direct sync, we'll make sure your systems talk to each other.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before starting?

Not at all. Many of our clients come to us with a problem, not a blueprint. Our discovery process helps uncover what's needed — and we guide you through shaping it into a solution.

Will I own the software you build for me?

Yes. Once the project is complete, you own the code, the IP, and the system itself. No hidden fees, no long-term lock-ins. Full transparency and control.

Do you offer post-launch support?

Absolutely. We offer support retainers for maintenance, updates, new features, or just to make sure everything runs smoothly. Your platform should evolve as your business does.

What tech stacks do you use?

We work with a wide range of modern technologies — including Laravel, Node.js, React, Vue.js, MySQL, Firebase, and more. We recommend stacks based on your needs, scalability, and your internal team's ability to maintain it (if needed).

Is custom software better than off-the-shelf tools?

If you need flexibility, control, and tailored performance — yes. Off-the-shelf tools are fine until they limit your growth or force you to adjust your process. Custom software molds to you, not the other way around.
